Which examination do you need?
A chest X-ray and a chest CT are different examinations. If the referral says CT or TAC, ask about computed tomography.
Frontal and lateral views
These describe image positions. Keep the views specified in your referral.
Other chest structures
Ribs or sternum may require separate examinations from a chest X-ray.
BEFORE YOUR VISIT
Preparing for your examination
Tell the imaging team if you are pregnant or pregnancy is possible. Wear easy-to-change clothing and remove metal objects from the area when asked.

- Your referral, if you have one, with the full examination name.
- The requested area, side and scan type.
- The instructions confirmed when you book.

How much does the examination cost?
Request a quote on WhatsApp. The area, side, views or contrast protocol may change the scope. We confirm the quote for the examination you need.
Where does the scan take place?
It takes place at our specialist partner centre in Rionegro. LABCCO coordinates the booking and confirms the location before you attend.
When will I receive the results?

Are Sunday appointments available?
We do not offer services on Sundays. Ask about available weekday and Saturday appointments.
